When showing our final digipak design to the class the reaction was genuinely really good. The class all agreed that the handwritten font style connotes the pop genre, and the composition of the images work well to create an overall image for a CD cover. Also that the black and white theme works well on the front and back cover as does the pink effect on the flowers behind the CD.
After showing the album cover, we also showed the first drafts of our magazine advert. Ben had created a full advert and everyone agreed that the QR code was on the large side and that most adverts now don't include them anyway so we decided against having one on our final piece.
A lot of the class members liked the idea of having two different related images on the front cover, and the image on the bottom of the advert being in black and white and then there being a gradient into colour to blend the two images together a bit more.
